WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF FIBERGLASS OVER WOOD?

Fiberglass stocks have a number of advantages over wood. If properly bedded, fiberglass stocks will offer the shooter maximum performance from any barreled action. They will hold point of impact and remain stable indefinitely. A fiberglass stock is light. It handles quickly and easily. Because it is not affected, as wood is, by humidity, rain, and extreme temperature variation, you can rely on a good fiberglass stock to be accurate and maintain its excellent shooting qualities regardless of the weather conditions.
